This is John Cooper’s second novel and the first of a series featuring heroine New Orleans Detective Louise Abbora. He owns and runs the Scottish hairdressing group Dare Inspirational Hairdressing. He is the chairman of the families charitable trust, The Ryan Cooper Trust set up in memory of his late son. He is working on the sequel right now and hopes to keep Louise Abbora busy in the coming years. Abbora is based on his wife Louise to whom he has been married for 18 years both physically and in character, (only the good stuff obviously) but in no way does he himself resemble Harry Bernstein.
